Alex Martin is the editor of The World of Fine Spirits, a publication dedicated to all things distilled. He has a decade of luxury media experience, having spent most of those years at Elite Traveler, the world's leading private jet lifestyle magazine, where he oversaw digital operations as digital editor before becoming editor in chief in 2022. During that time, he developed a particular passion for rare and exceptional spirits, but covered a wide range of topics including private aviation, motoring and horology. Before rising to the top editorial role at Elite Traveler, Alex worked as a journalist at the Daily Mail in London, as a sports journalist. Alex left Elite Traveler in 2025 to begin his journey with The World of Fine Spirits, where he channels a deep passion for drinks and the people-driven stories behind them. A graduate of the University of Brighton, he is born, bred, and based in south London.
