Port Ellen, 200th Anniversary Edition
As the name suggests, this release from Port Ellen celebrates the distillery's 200th anniversary, and does so with some aplomb. With layered smoke, rich fruitiness and hints of spice, this single malt Scotch whisky symbolizes exactly why the Islay distillery is held in such high regard. Limited to just 150 bottles and exclusively available to visitors to the distillery, it became an instant collector's item when it was released in 2025.

The palate delivers on that promise: rich, mouth-coating smoke, red fruit, dark brown sugar. The finish is long, settling into damp dunnage and something like old banknotes. An instant classic in an already star-studded Port Ellen hall of fame.
