Talisker, Special Releases 2025

Since 2001, Diageo has opened the doors to its whisky warehouses and let a little chaos loose. Under the banner of the Special Releases, these are a collection of limited-edition bottlings of their own single malts, and they are not designed to be polite or predictable; they’re a reminder that behind every corporate logo and big-name blend, there’s still a beating heart of people dedicated to making marvellous malt and grain whiskies. This Talisker, aged in barrels charred by volcanic rock, is the perfect example of the uniqueness of Special Releases.

A smoky, aromatic nose that moves from BBQ embers to mossy peat with touches of vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood.
