A rare Mannochmore drawn from a small experimental batch and matured in an unconventional cask regime. Initially aged in refill casks, the whisky was then transferred to highly active virgin European oak, where it remained for almost three decades, significantly reshaping its character.

After nearly three decades in virgin oak the nose remains vibrant. The palate is dominated by orange zest which holds through to the finish. Oak takes over at the end without ever drying. Water brings extra citrus and eases the bitterness.
