Tomatin, 45 Year Old
Tomatin's oldest-ever travel retail exclusive this 45-year-old single malt was released in 2023 and limited to 250 bottles. The spirit was matured for its entire 45-year lifespan in a single Spanish oloroso sherry cask, a rare approach at this age. Extended sherry maturation has given the whisky a deep mahogany colour and positioned it firmly within the fine and rare end of Tomatin’s portfolio.

Dried mango, papaya, orange peel, oak spice, tobacco, herbs
Palate
Dark chocolate, marmalade, hazelnuts, oak spice, figs, herbal tea, citrus peel
Finish
Cocoa, damp wood, bitter orange, mint, thyme
Dried mango and papaya unfold with orange peel and polished oak, backed by tobacco and a faint herbal liqueur note. The palate layers dark chocolate, marmalade and toasted hazelnuts before warming spice and dried fig emerge. Spanish oak brings dryness while herbal tea and candied citrus linger. The finish is dry with cocoa, old wood and bitter orange.
