Ladyburn, 1966 55 Year Old
Ladyburn 1966 Edition Two was a 55-year-old single malt drawn from one of Scotland’s most elusive ghost distilleries, limited to 210 bottles. Distilled in 1966 and matured in a sherry butt, it was released by William Grant & Sons as part of a curated series pairing rare Ladyburn stock with cultural artefacts of its era. Each decanter featured a rediscovered Norman Parkinson photograph, positioning the whisky as both a historical document and a collector-grade release.

Finish
Oak spice, menthol
Stewed raisins, cloves and dark chocolate form a deep nose with a faint dried orange lift. The palate evolves steadily with rich spice, dark chocolate, crystallized ginger and emerging sweetness of brown sugar and caramelized hazelnuts. The long finish brings oak, soft menthol and lingering richness.
