Rather than drawing sweetness or heavy sherry influence, the cask has shaped an aromatic, spice-led profile built around herbs and dry complexity. Light in colour but expressive in character, the whisky favours fragrance and structure over richness, evoking a sense of long-distance trade and gradual transformation through extended ageing.
