Glenmorangie, Pursuit of Passion Wine Cask Collection – Margaux

The Glenmorangie Margaux Cask Finish was released as part of the distillery’s Pursuit of Passion Wine Cask Collection, overseen by Dr Bill Lumsden. Distilled in the early 1990s, the whisky was matured initially in ex-bourbon casks before spending more than two decades in select Margaux wine casks from Bordeaux. At 29 years old, it stands as the oldest whisky in the collection, with the extended wine maturation delivering a dense, fruit-driven profile shaped by dark berries, earthy depth and structured oak influence.

The finish is long and warm with fruit, soft spice and a faint trace of dried earth.
